What Is The Global Caregivers Network?
The Global Caregivers Network (GCN) is an international online community dedicated to improving quality of life for family caregivers worldwide. We support individuals caring for loved ones with chronic conditions, disabilities, serious illness, dementia, mental health challenges, and age-related needs.
Through free education, peer connection, and practical resources, GCN helps caregivers feel informed, supported, and empowered, no matter where they are in their journey.
A Vision Born from Caregiving

Global Caregivers Network was founded by Sherrell D. Mims, RN, CDP, a nurse, caregiver advocate, and international speaker with a deep commitment to uplifting families navigating chronic illness, disability, and mental health challenges.
What began as a personal mission to educate and empower caregivers has grown into a global movement, connecting professionals, family caregivers, and communities worldwide.
Sherrell believes that when we strengthen caregivers, we strengthen families, and ultimately, society itself.
